At Cushing Community School we work together to create an engaged community where students grow to be confident, motivated learners who are proud of what they do and believe that perseverance matters.
Kindergarten Registration
2024-2025 Kindergarten registration is open for children turning 5 years old on or before October 15th, 2024. We are using an online registration. You may access the registration site with this LINK to complete an online registration request.
Once your registration request has been accepted, Mrs. Myrick will contact you with necessary account information needed to complete the on-line registration paperwork. We are asking that registrations be completed by April 12, 2024.
Once the enrollment forms have been completed, you will be contacted to make an appointment for kindergarten screening, which will take place on Friday, May 31, 2024.
Summer Enrichment Program
The RSU13 Summer Enrichment Experiences will run for 4 weeks during the month of July. The program runs from 8:30am-12:30pm, Monday-Thursday:
Week 1- July 8th-11th
Week 2- July15th-18th
Week 3-July 22nd-25th
Week 4- July 29th- August 1st
The fee for the 2024 program is WAIVED by RSU13. There is no Fee for the 2024 summer program. Daily field trips and engaging activities led by teachers and school educational staff. Free breakfast and lunch option provided for all students.

Home of the Cushing Captains
Here at Cushing Community School we work hard to engage students in their own learning. We call that being a “Cushing Captain.”
As each student finds and navigates their own learning journey, we foster the habits of hard work, working together, and persevering when things are hard. After all, things are usually hard before they are easy, we tell them, and effort and practice help us learn.
